‘CELEBRATE YOURSELF! 20 YEARS OF SONIC CATHEDRAL’

Incredibly honoured to have my work included in the Sonic Cathedral 20th anniversary box set: ‘Celebrate Yourself! The Sonic Cathedral Story 2004-2024’

Available to pre-order now: https://linktr.ee/sc20boxset

Stunningly designed by Stuart Jones

I became friends with Nat Cramp from Sonic Cathedral way back in 2005/6 (through MySpace!) when he put on some of the very first Maps shows. That relationship continued through the years, whether it was playing Sonic Cathedral shows, DJing at events or remixing SC artists. Maps even played the 15th anniversary show at Bush Hall. Also, the honour of me producing the Emma Anderson album ‘Pearlies’ (released last year) was through Nat.

Nat Cramp is an amazing human, and Sonic Cathedral is an amazing label. Here’s to the next 20 years!

My remix of Not Me But Us is included on the box set, as well as my cover of East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’ (which is previously unavailable until now!). Also, a previously unreleased Emma Anderson track is on there (which I produced).

Beauty. Emotion. Love. Infinity. Distortion. ❤️

TURNING THE MIND – 15 YEARS OLD!

‘Turning The Mind’ is 15 Years Old! 💥
Released on September 28th 2009 on Mute.

I can’t believe it has actually been 15 years!

The album was made at quite a dark period in my life, and is equally claustrophobic and euphoric. It really documents that time well.

Made with the help of the brilliant Tim Holmes from Death In Vegas, with artwork from Jesse Holborn.

Huge thank you to everyone who has listened and bought this album over the years, your support means everything to me ❤️

Much love! xx

Spiralée: Pearlies Rearranged

The magnificent @emmaandersonmusic , co-founder of Lush and, later, Sing-Sing is releasing a new album ‘Spiralée: Pearlies Rearranged’, via @soniccathedral on October 18th 2024.

Pre-order here: https://linktr.ee/emmaandersonmusic

I produced and mixed the original album ‘Pearlies’, which was released last October, and it is wonderful to hear these incredible reworkings of the tracks from such an amazing lineup of artists (see the tracklist below!)

My ‘Witching Time’ version of ‘Xanthe’ also makes it on to the album, which is a great honour. It is an alternative take to the version which was released on the ‘Pearlies’ album.

‘Spiralée: Pearlies Rearranged’ is a gorgeous album and a beautiful journey from start to finish. It is a complete reimagining of the original album. I love it 🙂

HENCE – MAPS REMIX!

The incredible creative duo Hence asked me to remix their new single ‘I Woke Up In Northampton’ and it was a huge pleasure to do so!

Hence is Knuth and Daryl Bamonte.

The original track is also out today. It is a beautiful, melancholic song – and I really enjoyed remixing it.
Plus it is the first time I have worked on a song with my hometown in the title 😊

The artwork by @knuthknuth features myself wearing modular headgear ❤️
