‘LF15 / A 4’33” Walk To Woburn Sands Station’ is a collaboration between myself and from Mortality Tables (Documentary Evidence – an unofficial Mute Records website), as part of the LIFEFILES series.

The idea behind the project was for me to create a response to the audio that Mat provided, which are snapshots of life, places, people and moments in time.

This track began life as a 4min 33sec recording of Mat walking to the train station in Woburn Sands. The footsteps provided the tempo of the track, and it evolved from there. It was a really enjoyable and creative collaboration.

I have known Mat Smith for many years, he is a hugely creative and talented writer, and a great friend. It was a pleasure to be a part of this project.

Thank you for a wonderful 2023!

It’s getting close to the end of the year so I just wanted to do a little lightspeed look back at some highlights from the year. Thank you to all the amazing people I have had the pleasure to work with this year, it has been a really exciting one for me!

And thank you to my wonderful label Mute Records for their love and belief

Most of all, thank you to everyone who has listened, bought and supported my releases. I appreciate it more than ever. It honestly means the world to me.
