These tracks began their life when I was making ‘Counter Melodies’, and exist in the same world as that album in a lot of ways. But ‘Counter Continuo’ is sonically and emotionally very much its own thing.

I worked on these 6 tracks this year, and I felt more freedom and spontaneity in the production somehow. It became my mission to get these tracks released and I’m delighted to announce them now.

I am very proud of it as a collection (and as a companion piece to ‘Counter Melodies’ and ‘Counter Mixes’) and thrilled for people to finally hear it.

‘Pearlies’, the stunning debut solo album by Emma Anderson (co-founder of the band Lush), is OUT NOW via Sonic Cathedral!!

I had the great pleasure of producing and mixing the album, and it’s a real honour to be involved in the project. Recorded last summer at Maps HQ, and then worked on remotely for the final production, it is a wonderful album which really showcases Emma’s beautifully melodic songwriting – and it was a joy to delve into creating a sonic world for these songs.

It also features the superb guitar playing of Richard Oakes from Suede on 4 tracks!

Also thrilled to finally get the opportunity to work on a record with longtime friend and all-round super human Nat Cramp from Sonic Cathedral.

Emma Anderson, co-founder of the band Lush, has just released ‘Clusters’, the 2nd single taken from her upcoming album ‘Pearlies’.

It is a stunningly beautiful, immersive and uplifting track and the breathtaking video was shot by the immensely talented Kieran Evans.

I produced and mixed the album, and it was a real honour for me to work with Emma, and very exciting to be getting closer to the LP release! The LP also features the beautiful guitar playing of Richard Oakes (Suede) on 4 tracks.

‘Pearlies’ is released via Sonic Cathedral on October 20th.
