It’s getting close to the end of the year so I just wanted to do a little lightspeed look back at some highlights from the year. Thank you to all the amazing people I have had the pleasure to work with this year, it has been a really exciting one for me! 🙏

And thank you to my wonderful label Mute Records for their love and belief ❤

Most of all, thank you to everyone who has listened, bought and supported my releases. I appreciate it more than ever. It honestly means the world to me. 🌎

Wishing everyone a fabulous festive break. Lots more exciting stuff in the pipeline for 2024, starting with the full release of ‘Counter Continuo’ on Jan 16th 🙌

3 tracks are out NOW, the full 6-track release is out on Mute on 16/1/2024.

These tracks began their life when I was making ‘Counter Melodies’, and exist in the same world as that album in a lot of ways. But ‘Counter Continuo’ is sonically and emotionally very much its own thing.

I worked on these 6 tracks this year, and I felt more freedom and spontaneity in the production somehow. It became my mission to get these tracks released and I’m delighted to announce them now.

I am very proud of it as a collection (and as a companion piece to ‘Counter Melodies’ and ‘Counter Mixes’) and thrilled for people to finally hear it.

‘PEARLIES’ by Emma anderson – OUT NOW!!

‘Pearlies’, the stunning debut solo album by Emma Anderson (co-founder of the band Lush), is OUT NOW via Sonic Cathedral!!

I had the great pleasure of producing and mixing the album, and it’s a real honour to be involved in the project. Recorded last summer at Maps HQ, and then worked on remotely for the final production, it is a wonderful album which really showcases Emma’s beautifully melodic songwriting – and it was a joy to delve into creating a sonic world for these songs.

It also features the superb guitar playing of Richard Oakes from Suede on 4 tracks!

Also thrilled to finally get the opportunity to work on a record with longtime friend and all-round super human Nat Cramp from Sonic Cathedral.
